The Angie Dodge murder investigation is the subject of an Investigation Discovery documentary, titled “Who killed Angie Dodge? Keith Morrison investigates,” that will air at 6 p.m. Monday.

The two-hour report will be shown in the Idaho Falls area on Cable One Channel 112, DISH TV Channel 192 and DirecTV Channel 285.

Dateline NBC correspondent Keith Morrison, who first brought the case to the attention of national viewers in 2012, returned to Idaho Falls earlier this year to interview convicted murderer Christopher Tapp.

Tapp was released from prison in a March deal with prosecutors after serving 20 years for Dodge’s rape and murder. None of Tapp’s DNA was found at the scene and Tapp and forensic and criminal investigation experts say his confession to the crime was false and coerced.

Investigation Discovery’s cameras were in the courtroom when Tapp was freed, a network news release said. Morrison conducted an interview with him three weeks after he was freed.

Morrison interviewed Angie Dodge’s mother, Carol Dodge, who believed in Tapp’s innocence and was a tireless advocate for his release. Morrison also interviewed Tapp’s public defender, John Thomas, and Post Register reporter Bryan Clark, who has led news coverage on the case for several years.
