KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The spirit of former Tennessee coach Pat Summitt hovered over a Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony that included her longtime assistant coach and one of her greatest players.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Chamique Holdsclaw will enjoy the crowning achievement of her basketball career in the town where she produced many of her greatest moments.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Super regionals are the next stop on the NCAA Tournament’s road to Omaha. The eight best-of-three series starting Friday and Saturday will determine the field for the College World Series.

Dailey, DeMoss make history as assistants in Hall of Fame

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Connecticut’s Chris Dailey and former Tennessee assistant Mickie DeMoss are entering uncharted territory with their historic inductions Saturday into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
