MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Appalachian State’s improved defense was a huge reason the program closed the regular season on a three-game winning streak and won a share of the Sun Belt Conference title.

BOISE (AP) — When Wyoming junior quarterback Josh Allen stepped onto the stage to accept his MVP trophy following the Cowboys’ 37-14 victory over Central Michigan on Friday in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, it didn’t take long for the chant to begin.

The University of Idaho men’s basketball team stumbled against UC Irvine on Thursday at CenturyLink Arena, but the expectations remain the same heading into the start of Big Sky Conference play later this month.
