Idaho Falls to host budget open house

Members of the public can learn about — and weigh in on — the city of Idaho Fall’s budget at an open house tonight.

The event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in conference rooms 1 and 2 at the Idaho Falls Public Library, according to a city news release.

No formal presentation will be made, but attendees will be able to meet Mayor Rebecca Casper and members of the Idaho Falls City Council. Light refreshments will be available.

Officials representing the Division of Parks and Recreation, the Idaho Falls Regional Airport, Idaho Falls Power, the Division of Public Works, Division of Planning and Building, the Idaho Falls Fire Department, the Idaho Falls Police Department, the Idaho Falls Public Library and the Division of Municipal Services will be available as well.

Those unable to attend can give input at tinyurl .com/citizen-input or by calling 612-8235.
