The United Way of Southeastern Idaho is teaming up with Snake River Landing for a series of summer concerts.
The Live United Concert Series at Snake River Landing features five concerts during July and August. The concerts will be held at the Snake River Landing, 901 Pier View Drive, No. 104. Each of the concerts start at 6 p.m.
Liza Leonard, marketing manager for Snake River Landing, said the free concert series will spotlight new musicians.
“There are several free concerts in the area for local bands,” Leonard said. “We love those and wanted to offer something similar, but that brings in outside talent. It’s a great chance for people to hear some bands that they’ve probably never heard before.”
During each concert, Leonard said there will be vendors selling food and drinks, with all proceeds going to the United Way.
The series starts July 24 with Andy Frasco, a blues-based pianist.
Fly Paper, a four-piece rock group , takes the stage July 31.
The soul-inspired Kris Lager Band performs Aug, 14.
New South Fork, a traditional bluegrass band, is featured Aug. 21.
Golden Grenade — a three-piece electronic rock band — closes out the series with an Aug. 28 performance.
