Work on the Interstate 15 Osgood interchange north of Idaho Falls is scheduled to begin Monday.
According to a news release from the Idaho Transportation Department, the project includes replacing the northbound on-ramp and both southbound ramps, realigning the ramps to improve sight distance, and upgrading the guardrail. The project is expected to take six weeks to complete.
During construction, the speed limit on I-15 will be reduced to 65 and the shoulders will be restricted. There will be a three-week closure of the northbound on-ramp beginning Wednesday; traffic will be detoured to the I-15 interchange in Roberts during the closure.
