Romney to campaign for Ahlquist in I.F.

Former Massachusetts governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will appear in Idaho Falls on Oct. 25 to campaign for gubernatorial candidate Tommy Ahlquist.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. at the Waterfront at Snake River Landing, 1220 Event Center Drive. The event is free to the public, but space for the event is limited and registration is required. Registration can be completed at

In addition to Romney’s appearance, Ahlquist will go over his policy platform, which he calls “A Blueprint for an Even Better Idaho,” according to a news release.

The event is part of Ahlquist’s tour of all 44 counties in the state over the same number of days.

Ahlquist, a Boise doctor and real estate developer, is one nine people seeking the Republican nomination.
