Three people were arrested and authorities found more than 19 pounds of marijuana Friday at a residence in Idaho Falls , the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Sheriff’s deputies and Idaho Falls Police detectives searched a home on Leesburg Lane around noon as part of an ongoing drug investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. Police detained Nicholas Kim, 30, Nita Corpuz, 28, and Tyler Kauffman, 24, all of Idaho Falls. Deputies said they seized the marijuana, four firearms and several thousand dollars from the residence. Deputies also seized a vehicle believed to have been used in drug trafficking.
All three are being charged with felony drug trafficking, and Kim and Corpuz are also being charged with injury to a child.
