Three streets in Idaho Falls could see speed limit changes, according to a city of Idaho Falls news release.
The recommended changes, based on collected data and evaluations by the Public Works Department, are:
• Holmes Avenue, 17th Street to Sunnyside Road. The proposed speed limit change is from 35 mph to 40 mph.
• John Adams Parkway, Holmes Avenue to 25th East. The proposed speed limit change is from 25 mph to 30 mph.
• Elm Street, Yellowstone Avenue to South Boulevard. The current speed limit is not posted. The proposed speed limit is 30 mph.
The city’s Traffic Safety Committee is considering speed limit changes on three roadways, and is soliciting public input.

The committee’s next meeting is 3 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Police Training Annex building, 740 Park Avenue.
