ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Vance Joseph’s college coach dropped by practice Wednesday for a friendly visit and to offer some advice.

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Tournaments in two countries last week might have gone a long way toward who finishes in the top 50 of the world ranking at the end of the year and gets into the Masters.

NAGOYA, Japan (AP) — Nathan Chen finished first in the men’s short program at the Grand Prix Final on Thursday, the last major international competition before the Pyeongchang Olympics.

Blake leads Idaho past Washington State 91-64

MOSCOW (AP) — Brayon Blake scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Victor Sanders added 19 points and Idaho blew out Washington State 91-64 on Wednesday night.

OREM, Utah (AP) — Akolda Manyang scored 25 points pulled down 15 rebounds and blocked six shots and Utah Valley defeated in-state rival Weber State 83-56 Wednesday night.
