“Jersey Boys,” the inside story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, kicks off the Idaho Falls Arts Council’s 2017-18 Broadway at the Civic series Dec. 9.
The show highlights the careers of hall of famers Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, four guys from New Jersey who made it big.
“They had a sound nobody had ever heard … and the radio just couldn’t get enough of,” an Arts Council release said. “But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story – a story that has made them an international sensation all over again.”
The show features hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You.”
“Jersey Boys” begins at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $62 and are available at the Arts Council offices at 498 A Street, by calling 208-522-0471 or by visiting http://www.idahofallsarts.org/jersey-boys.
Season tickets and custom packages for the four-show series are also available (10 percent off all four shows or 5 percent off three shows). The other shows are “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas” (Dec. 20), “Rent” (Jan. 13) and “Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage” (April 23).
