The John Welsh Band will bring a high-energy blend of Latin, West African, reggae and folk rock to an intimate Idaho Falls gathering Nov. 16.
The show is part of the Idaho Falls Arts Council’s new Carr Gallery Sessions and will begin at 7:30 p.m. The Carr Gallery at the Willard Arts Center will be set up for a smaller crowd with a lounge feel similar to what you might find in a big-city club.
The John Welsh Band, based in Vancouver, Canada, performs in English and Spanish at venues all across North America.
“John Welsh Band is going to be the most fun you’ve had in a long time,” Brandi Newton, Executive Director of the Idaho Falls Arts Council, said in a news release. “Their music is infectious will have everyone up on their feet, I’m sure.”
Tickets are $35 and include a drink voucher. They are available for purchase at the Idaho Falls Arts Council (498 A St.) by calling 208-522-0471 or by visiting idahofallsarts.org.
