NBC News fires Lauer over inappropriate behavior

NEW YORK — NBC News fired longtime “Today” show host Matt Lauer on Wednesday for “inappropriate sexual behavior,” making him the second morning television show personality to lose his job because of sexual misconduct charges in a week.

Potts approaches first legislative session

State Sen. Tony Potts is looking forward to his first legislative session. The Idaho Falls Republican was named by Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter to replace former Sen. Bart Davis after Davis was confirmed as Idaho’s U.S. attorney.
