The Idaho Falls High School boys and girls swim teams swept the City-County Championship team titles Saturday at Wes Deist Aquatic Center.

An Idaho Falls men’s 55 and over 6.0 tennis team qualified for the United States Tennis Association national finals tournament, scheduled for Oct. 27-29 in Orlando, Fla. The Idaho Falls “Old Racketeers won a competitive six-state sectional tournament Sept. 22-23 in Denver. The Idaho Falls team opens against Hawaii on Oct. 27. The Eastern Idaho Bach Competition was held Oct. 13 at Riverside Studios in Rexburg.

John Taylor received first place in Division II, for fourth- to sixth-grade students. Ava Rydalch and Natalie Felt were awarded second place and third place, respectively. Honorable mention awards went to Hailey Dalling, Elsie Marcum and Luke Taylor. All are from Rexburg.
