Snake River graduate Max Shelley got a max performance in her final game of 2017, scoring max points in an overtime win for the Westminster Griffins.
Shelley finished with a team-best 15 to lead her team to a 68-66 win over Colorado School of Mines, adding a season-high eight rebounds in the win.
Shelley also had season highs in field goals (six), assists (two) and steals (two) for the 5-6 Griffins.
Representing the Williams family crest at Westminster on Saturday, Ririe graduates Sicilee Williams and Haddi Williams had 10 points and three rebounds, respectively.
Just up the road from Westminster at the University of Utah, Skyline graduate Tilar Clark had nine points and six rebounds Friday during an 89-55 rout of visiting Arizona.
Clark also had 12 points Sunday during an 83-81 New Year’s Eve loss to Arizona State. The Utes are now 10-3.
On the happy side of an 82-80 win over Chemeketa on Saturday, West Jefferson graduate Jade Skidmore had 18 points, five assists and five rebounds to help lift Walla Walla to 12-1.
Competing for Big Bend (11-2) during a 76-63 loss to Bellevue on Saturday, Madison grad Leah Dougherty had 14 points and eight rebounds. She also had six points and six rebounds Friday during an 80-60 win over Edmonds.
Treasure Valley got 10 points and seven rebounds from Challis graduate Tara Chamberlain on Thursday during an 83-59 win over Colorado Northwestern. The Chukars are now 5-6.
Rigby graduate and Montana Western junior Tori Anderson scored nine points over just 14 minutes Saturday during an 86-46 rout of Dickinson State. The Bulldogs are now 11-3.
Oregon Tech forward and Firth grad Bailey Nelson finished with nine points and five rebounds Saturday during a 65-58 win over Warner Pacific. The win leaves the Owls at 10-6.
Bonneville graduate Jared Stutzman scored a team-high 17 points Saturday to push the Bengals past Weber State 62-60 in Ogden, Utah, ending a 10-game road losing streak to the Wildcats. Stutzman also had six rebounds and three assists in the win.
The new year finds the Bengals all square at 6-6.
Competing for North Idaho during a 106-67 win over Fairchild Air Force, Blackfoot graduate Jarod Greene led his team in points (18) and rebounds (14), hitting 8 of 10 from the field in the win. The Cardinals are now 10-3.
Representing Bonneville at Southern Idaho, Telly Davenport scored 12 and Keegan Hansen added eight Saturday during an 85-52 win over Mesa. The Golden Eagles are now 16-2.
BYU guard and Shelley graduate McKay Cannon finished with three assists and a team-high three steals Saturday during a 74-64 overtime loss to Saint Marys. The Cougars are now 12-3.
