Ririe Thanksgiving Run scheduled
The annual Ririe Thanksgiving Run is scheduled for Thursday beginning at Ririe City Hall. There will be 5k and 10k runs. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the races begin at 9 a.m. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for high school students and younger. Runners can register early at Teton Running in Idaho Falls, at the Life Care Center in Idaho Falls or by emailing ririethanks

I.F. sets winter golf schedule
The Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Department has announced its winter golf rotation schedule for Pinecrest, Sage Lakes and Sand Creek golf courses. Through Sunday, Sage Lakes will be open; from Monday to Dec. 1, Sand Creek will be open. The schedule may change due to weather or course conditions. Apple to host youth basketball leagues
Apple Athletic Club will host basketball leagues for players in kindergarten through third grade this winter. There will be a combined league of kindergartners and first-graders, and another combined league for second- and third-graders. The leagues are designed to be competitive and instructive. All games will be held Saturday mornings at Apple, beginning Jan. 11. Players must form a team to to join the leagues. The cost is $205.
