Fall has arrived, but there's still plenty to do outside today. Celebrate diversity at CommUNITY Fest, swing by the zoo or take the opportunity to peruse local markets.
The annual CommUNITY Fest runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Tautphaus Park. Events include a diversity fashion show, skateboard competition, children's activities, music and dance performances, and food and vendor booths. Admission is free. It's the last day of the season for the Idaho Falls Saturday Market, open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the greenbelt. The artisan market features handmade items such as jewelry and clothing, baked goods, food vendors and live entertainment. Call 589-7130.
'Moonlight and Magnolias'
The Actors' Repertory Theatre of Idaho presents "Moonlight and Magnolias" at The Phoenix theater, 257 W. Broadway. At 6:30 p.m., a preshow dinner begins, followed by the show at 7:30 p.m. The play is a dramatization of the five-day rewriting process of "Gone With the Wind." 'Century of Broadway'
