Sage Lakes Men"s Opener coming
Sign-ups are now open for the Sage Lakes Golf Course Men"s Opener, which is scheduled for Saturday.
Players must be members of the Idaho Falls Men"s Golf Association to compete. The cost is $25, and tee times will be from 8:40 a.m. to 1 p.m. For information, call the pro shop at 612-8535.
Babe Ruth baseball begins May 6
Babe Ruth Baseball, for players ages 13 to 15 in Idaho Falls, Firth and Shelley will begin May 6.
Interested players must register either on-line at the Babe Ruth website (www.idahofallsbaberuth.org) or by completing a registration form at Play It Again Sports in Idaho Falls.
All players must also participate in the mandatory Skills Day, which is scheduled for April 20.
The location of the Skills Day will depend on the high school boundary in which the child lives. Check the Idaho Falls Babe Ruth website for details regarding the specific times and locations.

Bodybuilding event coming to I.F.
The 10th annual NGA Grand Teton Invitational Bodybuilding, Figure, Bikini Competition and PRO GOLD Champion-ships will be held Wednesday at the Hillcrest High School Performing Arts Center.
Pre-judging begins at 9 a.m. and evening finals start at 5:30 p.m. Amateur competitors from Idaho, Utah, Montana and Wash-ington will be vying for pro status in men"s and women"s bodybuilding, wo-men"s figure and women"s bikini.
New to this year"s event are men"s and women"s physique divisions. Pro competitors from Idaho and Utah will be competing for prizes and prize money.
General admission tickets are $15, which are available at Wealth of Health Natural Market, 120 South Woodruff, or at the door.
VIP tickets are $20 and are available at www.ngagrandteton/com or at the door.

Madison girls to host 3-on-3 league
The Madison High School girls basketball program will host a 3-on-3 league for players in grades five through 11 beginning this weekand running Tuesday nights for six weeks.
There will be two leagues, one for grades five through seven and one for grades eight through 11. The cost is $140 per team.

Snake River boys hoops tourney on tap
The inaugural Snake River boys basketball tournament for players in grades five through eight is scheduled for April 12 and 13 at Snake River high school and junior high. The cost is $200 per team, and the entry deadline for the league is Friday.
There will be divisions for fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade and eighth grade, and each team is guaranteed five games.

Cal Ripken baseball to start April 29
Cal Ripken baseball, for players ages 9 to 12 in Idaho Falls, Firth and Shelley will begin April 29.

Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth seeking umps
Anyone interested in umpiring Cal Ripken or Babe Ruth baseball this spring should contact Tyler Walker at 201-9924 or Mike Whyte at 522-1230.
The season starts April 29. Training will be provided by certified umpires prior to the start of the season. Umpires are paid $25 per game.
3-n-Out football to hold meeting
The 3-n-Out 7 on 7 Elite Youth Football League will hold a parent/coach meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Idaho Falls Public Library, Room 2. League officials will answer questions and take registrations at that time.
The league is holding registrations through April 4 for players in grades four through eight. Player fees are $50 per player with a minimum roster of 10 players per team.
Teams will play two games each Saturday over the four-week season at Skyline High School.

Pinnacle Youth Football sign-ups set
Pinnacle Youth Football, a league for players in grades five through eight, is starting sign-ups for the 2013 season.
The tackle spring league offers a six-game season and two 7-on-7 tournaments. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.pinnacle youthfootball.com.

Snake River mens tourney set
