Show up. Be heard.
Idaho Falls City Club President Mark Young said it well in Sunday's Post Register: "Clearly, our city is at a crossroads," Young told reporter Christina Lords. "There are very important items that have to be addressed."
Tonight, the City Club will host the first public forum with the four candidates vying to replace outgoing Mayor Jared Fuhriman. From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the University Place auditorium, candidates will field your questions from moderator David Adler.
Thanks to the City Club for providing this opportunity. But its forum will only be successful if that auditorium is filled to capacity with engaged, curious residents who care about the future of their community.
This is no time for passivity. Show up. Submit questions. Listen carefully. Be heard.
This election requires not just your vote, but your preparation and participation as well.
