Brooklyn Anderson scored 18 points and the Skyline High School girls basketball team remained undefeated on the season at 5-0 with a 53-45 win over Century at home Tuesday.

Teammate Tilar Clark added 13 points and Jordyn Myers had nine. Skyline's Sam Raymond left the game early in the second half with an injury, but her replacement, Kalysa Nebeker, inspired the Grizzlies with her defensive play.

"The team stepped up and played good post defense," Skyline coach Gretchen Moser said. "Kalysa (Nebeker) played amazing defense for us."

Moser said missed free throws were a big factor in the first half.

"Down the stretch we made good decisions with the ball and finished with good free-throw shooting," Moser said.
