Boise State cruises past Hawaii
HONOLULU -- Joe Southwick threw three touchdowns and backup quarterback Grant Hedrick rushed for another and Boise State easily beat Hawaii 49-14 on Saturday.
Southwick threw for 209 yards, including touchdowns to Matt Millers, Aaron Burks and Holden Huff.
Hedrick replaced South-wick in the fourth quarter, well after the game was decided. He led the
Broncos (8-2, 5-1 Mountain West) on a 56-yard drive of more than 9 minutes, capping it off with a 4-yard touchdown run.
Jay Ajayi and Shane Williams-Rhodes each added rushing touchdowns and Boise State\\\'s defense also scored on a 25-yard fumble recovery.
Hawaii (1-8, 0-6) had its best play on special teams, with Mike Edwards returning a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 7-7 in the first quarter.

Cal Poly 70, Idaho State 14: At San Luis Obispo, Calif., Deonte Williams rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns, Andre Broadous threw for three more scores and Cal Poly dismantled Idaho State.
Williams scored on runs of 9, 3 and 44 yards, his final score putting the Mustangs (8-2, 6-1 Big Sky) up 35-0 five minutes into the second quarter. Akaninyene Umoh, Rocky Meszaros and Ryan Solomon also scored on the ground.
With Cal Poly\\\'s conference-leading rushing offense amassing 505 yards, Broadous only had to throw the ball 14 times. His eight completions included touchdowns to Cole Stanford, Willie Tucker and Brandon Michalkiewicz, all in the first half.
Southern Utah 35, Northern Arizona 29 (3 OT): At Flagstaff, Ariz., Southern Utah\\\'s Cody Larsen sacked Northern Arizona\\\'s Cary Grossart for a 15-yard loss on a fourth-and-3 play, keeping the Lumberjacks out of the end zone in the third overtime and preserving a victory for the Thunderbirds.
Montana State 65, Portland State 30: At Bozeman DeNarius McGhee threw four touchdown passes and Cody Kirk scored three TDs as Montana State routed Portland State.
Eastern Washington 31, UC Davis 28: At Cheney, Wash., Vernon Adams\\\' 9-yard touchdown run with 8:13 to play capped a second-half rally, and Eastern Washington blocked a late field-goal attempt to beat UC Davis and move into a first-place tie in the Big Sky Conference.
Northern Colorado 42, Weber State 34: At Ogden, Utah, Seth Lobato threw four touchdown passes and ran for another as Northern Colorado beat Weber State.
Wyoming 28, New Mexico 23: At Albuquerque, N.M., Wyoming quarterback Brett Smith threw four touchdown passes and a season-high 374 yards to lead the Cowboys past New Mexico.
BYU at Idaho: At Moscow, the Cougars were leading the Vandals 49-10 with 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter at Post Register deadline.
