Blackfoot graduate Hill named to All-FCS team


'Josh Hill made Idaho State University football history Tuesday.

The former Blackfoot High School standout became the first tight end in school history to earn a spot on the Associated Press Football Championship Subdiv-ision All-America team.

Hill, a 6-foot-5, 229-pound senior, was named the third team tight end on the AP team after catching 70 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns this fall.

"From the end of last season to the final play of the 2012 season, no player improved more than Josh Hill," Idaho State coach Mike Kramer said in a news release. "He worked extremely hard all season and it showed by his production on the field."

Hill, who was named to the Big Sky Conference second team this fall, finished his career with 143 catches for 1,270 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Big Sky Conference placed 15 players on the AP FCS All-America team, the most of any conference.
