I.F. runner to finish what she started

Taylor's Crossing Public Charter School is giving administrative assistant Kathy Hart the opportunity to finish the race she started a little more than two weeks ago.

Hart competed in the Boston Marathon on April 15. While she was left unharmed by the bombings, she was diverted off the course with the other runners about one-third of a mile away from the finish line.

Taylor's Crossing faculty and students organized a one-third mile course outside the school for Hart to run at 1:15 p.m. Thursday to finish what she started and to also honor those lost in the Boston tragedy.

The students and teachers plan to be her spectators and wave American flags as she runs.
