Thanksgiving is around the corner, and the holiday season is here. Get into the spirit by shopping for festive decorations and gifts from local artisans.

Unique Boutique

The 30th annual Unique Boutique Craft Fair runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bonneville High School, 3165 E. Iona Road. The long-running craft fair features more than 100 vendors offering a selection of handcrafted items. Admission is free. Visit

Holiday Fair

The Hope Lutheran annual Holiday Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2071 E. 12th St. More than 25 craft vendors will have gift items for sale. Soup, baked goods and other food items also will be available. Admission is free. Call 529-8080 or visit

Island Park Christmas Festival

The Island Park Historical Society hosts the annual Island Park Christmas Festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mack's Inn Playhouse. There will be a display and auction of Christmas trees, wreaths and gift baskets. A community lunch begins at 1 p.m. Call 558-7875 or visit

'Glorious Impressions'

The Idaho Falls Symphony presents "Glorious Impressions: Celebrating French Music," at 7:30 p.m. at Barrus Concert Hall on the Brigham Young University-Idaho campus in Rexburg. The Symphony, with the BYU-Idaho Collegiate Singers, will perform works by French composers. Call 496-3170 or visit

'Collections of a Decade'

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho's new exhibit, "Collections of a Decade," is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 300 S. Capital Ave. The exhibit celebrates the museum's 10th anniversary with works from its permanent collection. The show runs through Dec. 29. Admission is $4 for adults or $2 for youths. 'Santa's Toyland'

Collectors' Corner Museum hosts "Santa's Toyland," from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 900 John Adams Parkway. The holiday exhibit features vintage Christmas toys and decorations. Admission is $5, with discounts for seniors, students and youth. Call 528-9900.

'Treasures of the Tomb'

The Museum of Idaho's exhibit, "King Tut: Treasures of the Tomb," is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum, 200 N. Eastern Ave. More than 100 recreated artifacts from the tomb of the legendary King Tut are on display. The exhibit runs through Nov. 24.
