Woman sentenced for fifth DUI in Madison County
District Court Judge Gregory Moeller sentenced a Rexburg woman to five years of supervised probation after she pleaded guilty to her fifth driving-under-the-influence charge, according to the Idaho Repository.
Anastasia Marion Carrigan, 50, also must pay $1,845.50 in fines and court fees.
She was credited with 30 days of already-served jail time and was sentenced to 180 days of discretionary jail time.
If Carrigan violates her probation, she faces an additional five years in prison.
Carrigan was arrested for felony DUI on Sept. 22. She has prior DUI convictions in Madison and Teton counties.
Felony DUIs are punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
