Baby's story: Baby was picked up as a stray. She is house trained and knows her basic commands. She loves to play fetch and is very good with children.

If you're interested in adopting Baby, visit the Idaho Falls Animal Shelter at 2450 Hemmert Ave. All adopted animals are required to be spayed or neutered before going home. The staff will make an appointment with the vet, and the adopter can pick up his or her new family member when the procedure is complete.

The Humane Society of the Upper Valley hosts an animal adoption from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays at PetCo. The Bonneville Humane Society conducts adoptions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 444 N. Eastern Ave. and every other Saturday at PetSmart.
