Frequently Asked Questions

    Regarding the Online Edition
    Regarding the Print Edition
  • What are the delivery deadlines?

We guarantee delivery by 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and by 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you are receiving your paper late, please visit our Delivery Concerns page.

  • Can I request that my paper be placed in a certain location at my home?

We guarantee porch delivery on our foot routes and delivery to a box on our motor routes. While we try to take into consideration special needs, it is very difficult to guarantee special placement of the paper beyond your porch or box. If you have delivery concerns, please click here.

  • What do I do if I miss my paper or receive a wet or damaged paper?

Our customer service hours are 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 5 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday. We can be reached by calling 208-542-6777. You can leave a message after hours and your call will be returned the next day. You can notify us electronically by visiting our Delivery Concerns page.

  • Why didn't I receive the advertisement insert or flyer that my friend or relative received?

Advertisers have the ability to choose where their insert is distributed. Not all ads go in all papers. If you have questions about what ads you receive, please feel free to e-mail us.

  • How do I stop my newspaper if I go on vacation?

You can call customer service between the hours of 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 5 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday. We can be reached by calling 208-542-6777. You have several options: you can have us hold your papers while you are gone and deliver them all to you in a "pack" when you get back, you donate your papers to the Newspapers in Education fund or you can simply stop the delivery and have us extend your expiration date. Click here to take advantage of our vacation services.

  • Who delivers my paper each day?

The Post Register has more than 300 independent contractors that deliver the newspaper every day of the year except Christmas. A majority of these carriers are youth under the age of 18. Most motor routes and rural routes are delivered by adults. If you have praise or concern about your carrier, please let us know.

  • When are my subscription payments due?

You should receive an invoice from us 14 days prior to your expiration date. Your payment is due on or before your expiration date. If you believe you are about to expire but haven't received an invoice, please feel free to e-mail us.
