Ward named asst. VP at D.L. Evan’s Ammon branchJordan Ward has been promoted to assistant vice president / commercial loan officer at D.L. Evans Bank’s Ammon branch.
John V. Evans Jr., the bank’s president and CEO, announced the move in a news release.
Ward has worked for D.L. Evans Bank for 10 years, starting as a loan assistant and working through such positions as a personal banker, a consumer lending specialist and commercial loan officer, the release said.
Ward has a bachelor’s degree of business administration from Idaho State University. He also attended business professional leadership courses at Boise State University and has studies in American Bankers Association. He is currently the President of the East Idaho Falls Rotary Club, of which he has been a member for five years.

Sopalski receives Excellence in Finance awardTim Sopalski, trust department manager at The Bank of Commerce, was recently awarded the Excellence in Finance Award by Idaho Business Review.
Sopalski was among 20 honorees from across the state to receive the award, a bank news release said. Winners were honored at a reception at the Boise Centre on Nov. 17.
The annual recognition highlights professionals demonstrating outstanding performance in leadership, mentorship and community service, the release said.
The Bank of Commerce is headquartered in Idaho Falls. It has 16 branch locations and more than $1.9 billion in assets.
