Carl and Kayla Sanders of Philipsburg, Montana, welcomed a daughter, Delaney Lee Sanders on Dec. 28, 2017.
She was born at Anaconda Community Hospital in Anaconda, Montana. Delaney weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 18-1/2 inches long.
She joins big brother Deklan.
Grandparents are Dan and Tanya Corrigan of Challis and Tom and Barbara Sanders of Philipsburg. Her great-grandparents are Lawana Knox and Ellie Corrigan, both of Challis.
Will Millick, a freshman at Washington State University, earned a 4.0 grade point average his first semester, earning a spot on the President’s List. Millick is majoring in architecture.
Millick is part of the WSU Honors Program. He has been invited to the WSU Freshman Scholars Progression for his achievement. That invitation came from the Distinguished Scholars Program, part of the WSU undergraduate education plan.
Three local students were named to the Montana State University-Bozeman dean’s list for the fall semester.
Morgan Miller of Challis, Allie Dixon of Stanley and Erik Jackson of Salmon all received the honor.
Students must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours to make the list.
