Custer County’s unemployment rate dropped to 2.7 percent in March, compared to a 3.2 percent rate in February, according to the latest report from the Idaho Department of Labor.

That rate translates to 56 unemployed people out of the county’s workforce of 2,048. It’s also a small dip from March 2022, when the jobless rate in Custer County was 2.8 percent.
