Electra Battery Materials officials say they’ve made a big step in their efforts to recycle and repurpose battery waste.

Electra has an agreement with Three Fires Group to focus on recycling the waste from lithium-ion batteries in its black mass processing efforts. That processing results in the recovery of high-value elements including lithium, nickel, cobalt and graphite.
