2:20 p.m. Deputy Brandyn Knight responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on Third Street in Challis. A man reported someone might be messing with his apartment, but Knight found no suspicious activity.

3:59 a.m. Rosenkrance responded to a motorist’s complaint about construction cones on U.S. 93 in the Mackay area.

9 a.m. Patrol Sgt. Levi Maydole took a report of a school bus violation on Valley Road near Crane Lane in Challis.

9:10 a.m. Custer County Search and Rescue volunteers from Stanley responded to assist on a call in Blaine County.

4:45 p.m. Dispatch received a call from someone concerned that a friend might be in a wildfire closure area near Goat Lake in Sawtooth National Recreation Area. It turned out the area was not part of a wildfire closure.

4:55 p.m. Patrol Cpl. Crissi Gilchrist responded to reports of someone shooting clay pigeons from the Casino Creek Bridge over the Salmon River below Stanley.

6:22 p.m. Knight responded to a call about property damage at Northgate Inn motel in Challis. Roger Verne Williams of Ontario, Oregon, reported a hit and run to his 2018 Harley-Davidson Triglide motorcycle while it was parked in front of the motel. The front fender was dented and a light broken. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

9:24 a.m. The Challis ambulance crew and Custer County Coroner’s Office responded to the report of a death on Valley View Lane in Challis.

12:40 p.m. Chief Deputy Justin R. Mitchell responded to a report of a fight in progress at Kimble Oil on U.S. 93 in Challis.

2:40 p.m. Challis Animal Control Officer Edwin Happy took a report of a dog bite on Pleasant Avenue in Challis.

5:36 p.m. Deputy Justin K. Mitchell responded to a family dispute on Park Avenue in Mackay.

7:10 p.m. Deputy Joel Peterson responded to a dog fight at Heart of Idaho Animal Sanctuary north of Challis.

8:56 a.m. Maydole advised dispatched that a search and rescue might be needed in the Herd Creek area of the East Fork of the Salmon River.

12:16 p.m. Pumphrey advised dispatch that someone had reported kids playing in Stanley with no supervision.

1:47 p.m. Pumphrey and Idaho State Police Trooper Drew Francis responded to a report of an assault in the Stanley area.

6:32 p.m. Knight was advised that a search and rescue might needed for someone in the Iron Creek-Goat Lake area in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area near Stanley.

8:13 p.m. Rosenkrance responded to road rage reported on U.S. 93 in the Mackay area.

8:32 p.m. Knight cited a motorist for driving without privileges near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Blue Mountain Road in Challis.
