Jesse Shane Brown, 21, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at home surrounded by his family from complications from cancer. He was under the care of Brio Hospice and his amazing nurse Susanne.
Jesse was born on June 11, 1997 to Tony and Tracy McIntire Brown in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He spent the first 15 years in Idaho Falls, three years in Richland, Washington, a year in Hobbs, New Mexico then returned to Idaho Falls for the last 2 years. He attended Hillcrest High School, Hanford High School and graduated from Richland High School in 2015. He attended New Mexico Jr College.
He traveled and experienced new cities and jobs often. His favorite employers were Papa Tom’s in Idaho Falls; Pacific Rim and Denny’s in Hobbs, New Mexico. He worked hard at everything he did and made many friends everywhere he traveled.
Jesse was recently baptized Christian at Watersprings Church in Idaho Falls.
He recently became an Eagles member. He loved longboarding with his parrot, Bilbo, on his shoulder, shooting pool, umpiring high school softball, was a little league baseball star, playing catch, flying drones and playing video games with his nephew. Walking his dog, Brownie, which he loved with his heart and soul, playing with his nieces, going for drives and being with his best friends, laughing with his family, anything outdoors and adventurous, hacky sac, the ocean and eating lots of food!
Jesse just loved being around people and making them smile. He made friends everywhere he would go. His smile, strength, perseverance, kind soul will never be forgotten amongst the thousands of lives Jesse touched. He could have never imagined the great impact and inspiration he gave to so many people. We love you, Sweet Cheeks!
He is survived by his father, Tony Brown (Tess Catt) of Hobbs, New Mexico; his mother, Tracy Brown of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his sisters: Teena (Ryan) Castaneda and Kelsie Brown both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his brother, Aaron Brown of Walla Walla, Washington; his nieces: Amaya and Aleeya; his nephew, Kingston; his grandparents, Merrell and Alynn McIntire of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his grandfather, Norman Brown of Weiser, Idaho; and his grandmother, Pam Brown of Emmett, Idaho.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Watersprings Church, 4250 South 25th East. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
