REXBURG — At least 10 people sat inside the small lobby of the Rexburg Police Department on Thursday morning, all waiting for news on the Lori and Chad Daybell case. Waiting for news of their missing children.

On Saturday, Madison County officials gave the Daybells five days to bring their missing children, J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan, to Rexburg or they could be found in contempt of court. Today is the final day and as of 1:40 p.m., neither the couple or their children have been seen.

However, Kay and Larry Woodcock were at the Rexburg Police Department Thursday morning. The Woodcocks are J.J.'s grandparents

Kay Woodcock was seen leaving the department briefly to pick something up from her hotel. On her way out she told media that she had nothing new to tell the public and that they would have another press conference at 5 p.m. inside the Standard Journal.

Police have not issued any new press releases or information to the public at this time.

The press conference will be available to viewers via Facebook Live on the Post Register's Facebook page. Adams Publishing Group reporters will continue to update the public on this case as more information is available.
