‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’ to be performed in Pocatello
“The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane,” a play based on an award-winning children’s book, will have its first performance at 7:30 p.m. today at the Stephens Performing Arts Center in the Bistline Theater, 1002 Sam Nixon Ave. in Pocatello.
There will also be performances at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Thursday, Nov. 19 and Nov. 20, with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Saturday and Nov. 20.
The play follows Edward Tulane, a selfish toy rabbit that becomes separated from his owner. What follows is a 20-year journey in which he learns about love and friendship.
Adults tickets are $14 and children’s tickets for ages 6 to 18 are $9. Kids younger than 6 aren’t admitted.

Irish-bluegrass band to perform at Colonial Theater
JigJam is scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. today at the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls. The members of the group grew up with Irish music. Their music reflects this with its blend of Irish music and American bluegrass and folk.

Center Twin Theater in IF offers free movies this weekend
“Clifford the Big Red Dog” and “Venom: Let There be Carnage” will be screened for free Saturday and Sunday at the Center Twin Theater, 461 Park Ave. in Idaho Falls.
“Clifford the Big Red Dog” will be shown at 11 a.m., 1:40 p.m., 4:10 p.m., 6:50 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Saturday and then at 1:40 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. Sunday.
“Venom: Let There be Carnage” will be shown at 11:30 a.m., 2:10 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 7:20 p.m., and 9:50 p.m. Saturday and then at 2:10 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. Sunday.
Although the event is free, attendees must pick up tickets ahead of time today or before each screening.
There will be free popcorn and Pluto TV freebies available at the theater.
