Idaho Falls Symphony to give outdoor performance
The Idaho Falls Symphony will play a free show 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Russ Freeman Park bandshell, 1290 Science Center Drive in Idaho Falls.
Attendees can bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on.
The symphony will play songs by a variety of composers, as well as the new composition “Fanfare for Democracy” by Jim Stephenson.
Foreigner to perform in Fort Hall
The rock band Foreigner will perform 8 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel, 777 Bannock Ave., Building B in Fort Hall.
Foreigner has sold over 80 million albums and has many popular songs. Among those songs are “Cold as Ice,” “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You.”

Blues singer Carvin Jones to play at Colonial
Blues-rock musician Carvin Jones is scheduled to perform 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Colonial Theatre in Idaho Falls.
Jones was voted one of the “50 greatest blues guitarists of all time by Guitarist Magazine,” according to the Facebook event page.
General admission tickets are $25, and VIP tickets are $75.
