ST. ANTHONY — A 23-year-old man drowned near Fun Farm Bridge around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s office identified the man as Dallon Hill.
According to a Fremont County Sheriff’s Office news release, dispatchers received a call that a man, who had jumped off of the Fun Farm Bridge, failed to resurface.
“Multiple law enforcement responded to the scene. Search and rescue crews were also called to the scene and were in the water within minutes of the initial call,” the release said.
At about 9:45, A Search and Rescue dive member found Hill’s body and managed to pull him out of the water and into an awaiting boat.
“Hill was transported to the shore where he was pronounced deceased,” the release said.
Fremont County Sheriff’s office, St. Anthony Police, Idaho Fish and Game, Life Flight and Fremont County Search and Rescue assisted in the search.
