Opinion: Comedians in the Idaho Legislature

I'm writing this to thank Jerry and Carrie Scheid for providing some much-needed humor in the Post Register. I am specifically referring to their article "And the winners are ..." on April 22 regarding some of the things that come out of the mouths of our duly elected representatives in the Idaho state Legislature.

If we give these legislators the benefit of the doubt and think theirs was a momentary brain freeze, we may be giving credit where none is due. I would think that there is enough material that the Scheids could write such an article each month that the Legislature is in session. Thank you for keeping tabs on the buffoons in Boise.
