Disappointment, despair, and sadness. That's the overriding sentiment among area seniors whose careers were cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are a few of their stories.

At Sugar City, the Shelley softball team put up five runs in the first, but it wasn’t enough as Sugar-Salem took advantage of walks and errors to pull away, 16-5 in five innings. Kennedy Chambers knocked in four runs and Shayla Dopp finished 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs for Sugar-Salem.
