Representatives from the Jefferson County camps of Daughters of Utah Pioneers have been visiting local elementary schools to demonstrate pioneer activities. The women have visited the Harwood, Midway and Ririe schools since Christmas.

Tamera Boyle helps students at Midway Elementary School make toys from buttons and string. Children from local elementary schools have also learned how to make butter, dips candles and sew.
