Lael Lofgran, of Rigby, will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house Aug. 25 at 5 p.m. the Rigby City Park at the Bob Brown Shelter.
Lael was born Aug. 22, 1938 in Provo, Utah and was raised in Eureka, Utah. She married Vernon Lofgran on Oct. 13, 1956 in Eureka.
She worked at Artco in Rexburg and as an aide at the Rigby Elementary Schools.
She has fulfilled many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Relief Society and as the Young Women’s president, and has served three missions at the Family History Center in Idaho Falls.
She has five children: two sons and three daughters. She has 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren with another one on the way.
Lael will celebrate her birthday with friends and families. No gifts, please.
